DESCRIPTION:As the Detroit Chpater of OCA-APA Advocates\, the Association of Chinese Americans is proud to host APA-Y Advocate. This is a free leadership training program aimed at Asian Pacific American high school youth. The program focuses on developing the leadership skills of APA youth and helping them to gain awareness of social justice issues\, as well as aiding them in understanding why it is important to advocate.
