SUMMARY:Mental Health Awareness Promotion
DESCRIPTION:ACA is holding Mental Health Seminar at the Detroit Service Center. \nThe Association of Chinese Americans will hold a mental health seminar with Detroit Wayne County Mental Health Bureau in the Detroit Service Center on October 4\, and the seminar will invite local psychologists to introduce the relevant knowledge of mental health care. Mental health has been a major health threat to Asian communities\, and because of language and cultural barriers\, the mental health of Asian-American communities has long been neglected. Therefore\, the Association of Chinese Americans invites local psychological counseling experts\, psychological counseling doctor\, registered psychological tutor Dr. Song Meiqi to the Association of Chinese Americans for the community to provide free mental health care lectures\, lectures will focus on the promotion of mental health\, how to find the symptoms of mental illness and so on. \nInterested community friends are invited to participate. \nThe lecture time is from 10:30 to 12 o’clock noon.\nDetroit Service Center address: 4750 Woodward AVE.\, #211\, Detroit\, MI 48201\nRegistration Contact number is: 313-831-1790
