SUMMARY:Anti-Asian Hate Forum
DESCRIPTION:AAPI Hate Incident Reporting Form\n\nThis forum will be the first part of ACA’s “Now and Then” Series which will be followed by an AAPI Heritage Month Celebration event on May 8th and closed with a Vincent Chin Memorial event in June (date TBD).  \nIn order to ensure that the community’s voices are heard\, we will be providing three platforms in which concerns can be expressed. Questions can be submitted online (bit.ly/ACAAntiAsianHateForumQuestions)\, during the first 30 minutes of the event in an open discussion setting\, or during the Question & Answer session following each speaker. \nFor Incident Reporting\, we have Roland Hwang from our Board of Directors\, former Assistant Attorney General\, and an activist during Vincent Chin’s case during the 1980s and into the 1990s.  \nFor Mental Health\, we have Dr. May Chen from Spera Consulting International who is a licensed clinical psychologist to address the importance of mental health and what can help us process and heal during these difficult times.  \nFor Safety\, we have Chief Haines from the Madison Heights Police Department to talk about safety in numbers\, parking vehicles at shopping centers\, identity theft\, and basic personal safety. \nJoin our forum and amplify the voices of the Asian Pacific American community. The change starts with you taking the first step and sharing with others. To register: bit.ly/ACAAntiAsianHateForumRegistration.
