ACA in Michigan Announces its 46th Anniversary Gala

We invite you to join us to commemorate our 46th year of serving the local Asian Pacific American (APA) community in Michigan.

Madison Heights, MI – The Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) is proud to announce the organization’s 46th Anniversary Gala to be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 5:30pm to 9pm, at the Glen Oaks Country Club located at 30500 West Thirteen Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m.
Founded in 1972, Association of Chinese American is the Detroit Chapter of OCA-Advocates which has a long-standing reputation for providing vital community, civil and social services. With four service centers in Metro Detroit, ACA provides quality, year-around services, including youth leadership and education, social services, immigrant services, and much more.
To mark this year’s the 46th Anniversary, the event will feature keynote speaker Paul Chang, the Co-Chair of the Regional Network and on behalf of the Executive Director, Holly Ham, of White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Mr. Chang will deliver the theme and message: “Passion, Power, Persuasion: Building on the Best.” The evening begins with cocktails, dinner and culminates with exciting entertainment at this prestigious venue.
The Anniversary Gala is ACA’s signature annual gathering to celebrate the year’s accomplishments and refuel to strive for future success. It is a celebratory evening featuring state and city officials, cultural performances, and recognition of our outstanding community partners and sponsors. It is also an opportunity for the community, supporters and friends with an interest in working together to give back to our community in the areas of education, healthcare and cultural development. ACA demonstrates the power of collaboration and support to help engage people from our communities in Metro Detroit area, and the annual Galas have attracted a diverse and aware audience of friends of our community.
As a group, we are committed to help Asian Pacific Americans community in need with opportunities to promote and develop our fullest potential.

美華協會隆重舉辦46週年慶晚會

美華協會謹訂於10月26日（星期五）下午5時30分，假Farmington Hills市的Glen Oaks Country Club舉辦46週年慶晚會。Glen Oaks Country Club會場美侖美奐，座落於30500 West Thirteen Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan。雞尾酒招待會將於下午5時30分開始，6時整開始晚會活動。
美華協會成立於1972年，是OCA-Advocates的底特律分會，在提供重要的社區，公民和社會服務方面享有盛譽。 美華協會在底特律地區有四個服務中心，提供優質的全年服務，包括青年領導和教育，社會服務，移民服務等等。
為紀念今年的46週年，美華協會特別邀請來自加州，代表白宫亞太裔行動計劃（White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders）執行董事Holly Ham，出席本次晚會的該會區域聯合主席Paul Chang，擔任專題主講，闡述主題和信息：“激情，力量，勸說：建立在最佳狀態。” 晚會將以雞尾酒開場，隨後即進行晚餐及晚會高潮節目。
