Learn About 2020 Census

人口普查促进会议

2020 Census will begin this week. You may have received a letter from the Census Bureau inviting you to respond to the census, or you may receive it shortly.

The Association of Chinese American, Inc. and Asia & Pacific islanders American Vote Michigan (APIAVote-MI) will co-host a census promotion online meeting on March 21, 2020 (Saturday) from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM through ZOOM. The meeting is also supported by the Michigan Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission (MAPPAAC). The purpose of this meeting is to increase the number of Chinese people participating in the census. We are welcome all leaders from the Chinese community, leaders of Chinese organizations, leaders of Chinese schools, church members, as well as members of the University Student Union of China. Dr. Hayg Oshagan will give a speech. He is the director of New Michigan Media and a professor of Communications at the Department of Communication at Wayne State University.
