The Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) is thrilled to announce a major milestone in our efforts to support the Metro Detroit community. On December 2, 2024, ACA officially received a brand-new 2024 Ford Transit Passenger Van, marking the culmination of our successful Give In May fundraising campaign. This 15-seat van is the cornerstone of our upcoming ACA Care Shuttle program, which will provide essential transportation services to seniors who lack reliable options.
This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible generosity and commitment of our supporters. Thanks to the overwhelming response from our community and a generous matching donation from an anonymous benefactor, allowing us to secure this vital resource.
The ACA Care Shuttle program will make a profound difference in the lives of our senior community members. With this new van, ACA is set to offer over 300 rides annually, connecting seniors to healthcare services, grocery stores, and community events.
