OCA APA Y-Advocate

This free Asian Pacific American youth leadership training program is hosted by the Association of Chinese Americans, the Detroit chapter of OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates. This program is funded by State Farm.
This  program is designed for high school students and focused on the development of APA youth in our communities. Students will develop leadership skills, build a growing relationship with the local OCA chapter, gain awareness of social justice issues, and have an understanding of why it’s important to advocate. This half-day program includes breakfast and lunch.
Students 17 years old and under are required to submit a parent/guardian permission slip. Click here for the document.
