On Friday, April 24, 2026, the Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) proudly hosted the State of the Cities event at the ACA Chinese Community Center, bringing together community leaders, public officials, and residents for a morning of dialogue, connection, and shared vision.
In partnership with the MHHP Chamber of Commerce and with the support of sponsors including Henry Ford Health and Diversified Members Credit Union, the event highlighted the ongoing growth and future plans of both Madison Heights and Hazel Park.
The morning began with networking and a community breakfast, offering attendees a chance to reconnect and build new relationships. ACA President Richard Mui delivered welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between local governments and diverse communities. His message underscored ACA’s continued commitment to serving as a bridge between cultures and civic institutions.
The program’s centerpiece featured insightful presentations from Mayor Michael Webb of Hazel Park and Mayor Corey Haines of Madison Heights.
