The vibrant spirit of community service was celebrated on November 18, 2023, as the Association of Chinese Americans, Detroit Chapter of OCA-Nationals, gathered for its annual Volunteer Appreciation and President’s Volunteer Service Awards Recognition Luncheon. This special event served as a platform to honor and recognize the outstanding contributions of 28 dedicated individuals who went above and beyond in their commitment to community betterment. With 115 attendees, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude and camaraderie as the awardees’ remarkable achievements were acknowledged and celebrated.
