September 17: ACA 2022 Healthy Gardening Fair

On Saturday, September 17, ACA hosted the Healthy Gardening Fair at our Chinese Community Center in Madison Heights from 11 am to 2 pm. The Healthy Gardening Fair is ACA’s annual signature event and part of Oakland County’s Welcoming Week celebrations this year. The theme of 2022 was “Healthy, Organic, Homemade, Homegrown, eco-friendly, green,” focusing on AAPI Healthy Lifestyles.

There was a center stage featuring cultural performances and fun activities and a market showcasing a homegrown produce display, health information booths, craft booths, local farmers, Asian street food, and more! We had nearly 500 attendees, and we hoped everyone enjoyed the food and drinks that day.
